Terms of service
These Terms govern your use of stdout-fit.com (the "Store") and any purchase from it. The Store is operated by stdout-fit ("we," "us"). By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
What we sell. Print-on-demand apparel featuring "thinking text" — the status lines AI coding tools show in the terminal while they work. Everything is made to order; we hold no inventory.
Orders and pricing. Prices are in U.S. dollars. We may correct pricing or description errors and cancel any affected order, refunding you in full if you were charged. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including suspected fraud or a custom line that breaks the rules below.
Custom text products. Some products let you submit your own line of text ("Custom Content") to print. Custom products are made for you and are final sale — non-refundable and non-returnable except where the item arrives defective, damaged, or misprinted through our error (see our Refund Policy). When you submit Custom Content, you confirm you have the right to use it and that printing it infringes no one's rights, and that it isn't unlawful or prohibited under the next section. Every custom order is reviewed by a person before printing; we may reject, cancel, and refund any custom order at our sole discretion, without explanation.
Prohibited content. You may not submit Custom Content that is, or that we reasonably believe to be: unlawful; infringing on someone's intellectual property or other rights; hateful or discriminatory toward a protected group; harassing, threatening, or inciting violence; sexually explicit; or impersonating a real person or brand without authorization.
License to use your Custom Content. The custom product page has two optional, opt-in checkboxes. You grant the license below only for a box you tick; leave it unchecked and no permission is granted.
- "ok to share": you grant stdout-fit a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce and display your submitted line anonymously in our marketing (e.g., emails and Bluesky) for entertainment and promotional purposes.
- "ok to feature": you grant stdout-fit a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to produce, display, market, and sell apparel bearing your submitted line as a featured product for other customers, with no further payment or credit to you.
These licenses survive your order. You keep your underlying rights; you're just permitting the uses above. To stop future marketing use of a line, email support@stdout-fit.com — we can't recall items already printed or sold.
Our intellectual property. The stdout-fit name, logo, site, and pre-made designs are ours and may not be copied or resold. Buying a shirt doesn't transfer rights in the artwork beyond owning the physical item.
Disclaimers. The Store and products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
